Vaccines
Here
are the recommended vaccines and what they cost me (in San Francisco
12/99).
I
already had the tetanus before China, and I opted out of the Cholera
since it's not that effective. I'm taking along a selection of sizes
of syringes and needles - my doctor just grabbed some from a drawer
in the office - and she also prescribed a strong antibiotic called
Cipro in case of SEVERE diarrhea or bronchial infection, as well
as Lariam for malaria.
